Mr. Sosin is a Partner in the firm Sosin & Arnold, Ltd. A 1972 graduate of the Northwestern University School of Law, he has a Bachelors Degree in Finance from the University of Illinois. David Sosin has served as Village Attorney for the Village of Crestwood, Illinois for over a decade and practices in all areas of auto dealership representation, real estate law and zoning law. He is licensed to practice law in the states of Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin.
David Sosin is uniquely honored to have received both the David Hilliard Award from the Chicago Bar Association, and the Board of Governors Award from the Illinois State Bar Association for distinguished service. David Sosin has served as Past Chair of the Insurance Committee, the Bar Services Committee and the Minority and Women's Participation Committee of the Illinois State Bar Association. Mr. Sosin was recently designated as a Facilitator for the Illinois Supreme Court Study on Professionalism, and has conducted seminars all over the State of Illinois for the Supreme Court aimed at improving the quality of the legal profession.
Mr. Sosin is the President-elect of the Illinois Bar Foundation, and is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the ISBA Mutual Insurance Company. In addition, David Sosin is a former member of the District 142 School Board and is Past Vice-President of the Bremen Township High School Board. Mr. Sosin has lectured to other lawyers and the public on various estate planning and business-related subjects.
